Lobbing it off

So I decided to chop half of my hair off.

I was initially planning to cut it for charity and donate it, but it turns out it was more layered than I thought and not long enough to make a wig out of. By that point, though, I had already geared myself up for the most extreme cut of my life (what an adventurous life I do lead) so voila! I went for it anyway. I joined the legion of the lob.

I always tend to have my hair done when I come back home to Italy (again, creature of habit). I get on well with the girls at my usual salon (Udine readers, take note: Jean Louis David in Piazza S. Cristoforo gets the thumbs up!) and also – a bit of a stupid reason, I know – I don’t have to worry about tips: in London I’m never sure how much is appropriate and I get flustered and it’s not fun. Should I google it and stop being so silly? Mhmm. Maybe next time, eh.
