It’s no secret that I am a lazy dresser. I appreciate a good outfit as much as the next person, but once I’m dressed for the day, the only thing I will be looking to change into is my PJs, at the end of it. But accessory changes? That I can and will happily do.

I hunted far and wide for an authentic cowboy jacket – and last year I finally found the fringed creation of my dreams on Etsy and had it shipped over from the good ol USofA. After passing the bed-bug test with flying colours (it was in tip-top condition) it quickly became one of my favourite pieces. Just look at them fringes.

The T-shirt I picked up at my first-ever Vogue festival a few weeks ago, the trousers from H&M I have had forever (they have a similar pair here), and the Adidas Superstars I have had for even longer. My bag is Fullspot (minus the fur, as you can see it here).

As nighttime approaches, ditch the fringes and pare down the silhouette.

I added some colour to the monochrome, in the form of Lulu Guinness’ classic ruby red snakeskin clutch and these pink pom-pom shoes from Asos, the new loves of my life. Honestly don’t know what life even was before these beauties walked in. They are now out of stock, I’m afraid, but these guys make all sorts of clip-on shoe pom poms that you can use to make every single pair you own more fabulous, so don’t despair.

So there you have it: day to night, easy peasy.
